Cancellation and payment conditions for the rental agreement

After booking, 50% of the rental amount must be transferred within 48 hours to confirm the reservation

If the amount is not received within this time, the landlord reserves the right to cancel the booking.

Final payment

The remaining payment of 50% of the total rental price must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the trip.

If the remaining payment is not made on time, the landlord may terminate the contract and retain cancellation fees in accordance with the provisions below.

Cancellation policy

Free cancellation for short-term holiday rentals (less than four weeks) is possible up to 30 days before the start of the trip (for long-term rentals of at least one month, a three-month notice period applies).

If a cancellation for short-term rentals is made less than 30 days before the start of the trip, the following cancellation fees apply:

30-15 days before arrival: 50% of the total rental price

Less than 15 days: the entire rental price will be retained

Cancellations must be made in writing by post with an original signature.

replacement tenant
The tenant has the right to provide a replacement tenant. This replacement tenant must accept all contractual terms and conditions. In this case, the cancellation fees will be waived, less a €50 processing fee.

Force majeure
If the trip cannot be started due to unforeseeable events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, official travel bans), the renter will be offered a free rebooking or a credit note. Refunds are excluded.

Written cancellation
Any cancellation must be made in writing (by email or letter). The date of receipt of the cancellation is decisive.

Recommendation of travel cancellation insurance
The tenant is advised to take out travel cancellation insurance to be covered in the event of a cancellation.
